SNOWSPORTS SCHOOL QUALIFICATIONS

Have previous Snowsports teaching experience

Demonstrate strong skiing or snowboarding skills

Enjoy working outdoors in all winter conditions

Have flexible availability, including weekends & evenings

Be 14 years of age or older

Ages 14–17: Availability on weekends and during school breaks is required

Be PSIA/AASI Certified or successfully complete the Bristol Mountain Instructor Skills Workshop

Experience what it’s like to work as a Snowsports Instructor, even if you have no teaching experience beyond knowing how to ski or snowboard

There is no fee to participate in the our on-snow Instructor Skills Workshop.
TRAINING MATERIALS
All workshop materials and required forms can be downloaded from the Employment page of the Bristol Mountain website under the Snowsports School section.
Participants should review the training manuals prior to the on-snow sessions.
The Bristol Mountain Snowsports School is a proud member of the Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA) and the American Association of Snowboard Instructors (AASI), providing participants with instruction based on nationally recognized teaching standards.
