Mogulrunners

Mogulrunners is designed to introduce 8-18 year old intermediate and advanced skiers to freestyle skiing.  It is not designed for those wishing to compete on a regular basis, but if participants develop an interest in competing in local events, the Freestyle Team coaching staff will provide coaching at those events.  Mogulrunners will train Saturdays December 15, 2007 through March 8, 2008 from 10 am to 3 pm.

Parkrunners

Parkrunners introduces 8-18 year old intermediate and advanced skiers or snowboarders to the terrain parks.  Basic skills of riding the pipe, rails, and big air hits are developed.  Safe use and etiquette within the park is stressed.  Participants will also be instructed in flat terrain and moguls.  Parkrunners will train Saturdays December 15, 2007 through March 8, 2008 from 10 am to 3 pm.

Mogulmasters

Designed for adult skiers, 19 and older.  Whether you are interested in dominating at "Bump This" or desire the ability to link comfortable turns in the bumps, this is your program.  Coaches will demonstrate proper technique and show you how easy it is to master the moguls!  For the real adventurous souls, we will spend time working on jumping, but if you would rather keep your feet on the ground, that's cool.  Mogulmasters will train Sundays January 6, 2008 through March 9, 2008 from 10 am to 12 pm or 1 pm to 3 pm.

Meal Card

Participants may purchase a ten-time or twelve-time meal card.  The meal card includes a choice of: (1) taco, hamburger, hotdog, pizza, or PB&J sandwich, (2) french fries or soup, (3) milk, hot chocolate, or soda, and (4) a cookie.  Meal cards are mailed prior to the first day of class and are nonrefundable.  Lost cards may be replaced at the regular retail rate.

Regulations

Freestyle programs are available for children ages 8 through adult, from intermediate to advanced.   These programs are designed to take your skiing or snowboarding skills to a new level, while making new friends, and participating in a series of fun activities extended to program participants.

Advance registration is recommended prior to January 1st due to limited class sizes.  Program rates increase $20 per participant starting January 1, 2008.

Classes are determined by age and skill level.  Class sizes range from 8 to 10 students.  Requests for placement with friends or a specific coach are accommodated to the best of our ability on the first day of the program.  The group remains with the same coach throughout the duration of the program.

Purchasers of the regular-rate Mogulrunners or Parkrunners programs will receive a season pass valid on Saturdays from December 15th through March 15th from 8 am to 5 pm.  Purchasers of the regular-rate Mogulmasters program will receive a season pass valid on Sundays from January 6th through March 9th from 8 am to 5 pm.  Season passes are issued in the Guest Services Office during regular business hours.  Season passes are nontransferable.  Replacement cost for lost passes is $15.

The Bristol Mountain Assumption of All Risks Agreement as well as the Parental Agreement (if participant is under the age of 18) must be signed by the participant and/or parent prior to the first day of class.  Participant will not be able to participate in the program without the completed form on file at Bristol Mountain.

On the program’s first day, participants must check in at the Information/Ski School Desk in the Main Lodge between 8:30-9:30 am.

Classes are held rain or shine.  If severe weather prevents classes from being held, an announcement will be made on the snow report at 585-234-5000 along with rescheduled dates.

A make-up ski or snowboard day is extended to participants.  The make-up day does not include a lesson and is scheduled the week after completion of each program.

REFUNDS ARE NOT ISSUED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
